The solar system
Wow, it was windy that day. Sometimes the day can have no wind, but as soon as I hang a quilt on the line a strong breeze comes up.
This is a panel with two borders.

A new sewing space
For over twenty years now we have been hosting international students. I think we may wind down a little.
Two years ago I bought a new sewing machine and the instructions say that I should keep it inside. I have been sewing in the garage. Now that one of the bedrooms will be free I am about to move my sewing things indoors. There won't be space for everything so I will need to have a big sorting out day and only bring inside the things I need, such as the sewing table, sewing machines (I have two) the picnic table for pressing and cutting and the design wall. Not forgetting two big baskets of scrap fabrics and partly finished quilt tops.
We need to give the bed away (or sell it) and move the desk outside.

Wheels
This is one of the quilts I made for a young boy, another one also has vehicles I have lots of fabric left so I guess I will be making more of them. Those few leaves in the foreground belong to the orange tree and there is a bouganvillea climbing up a trellis at the deck.
Part of my backyard
This is part of my backyard. The bird feeder has been removed. We enjoyed having lorikeets visit us. But sadly the mice found the "free food" and we had to take it down. The two palm trees on the left are Washington cottons and the one on the right is a a Cocos Palm, which always seems to have dead fronds hanging about.. All the plants in that bed are now over 1 metre and grown into each other, there is also an umbrella tree, planted later. Our flowering gum tree is behind the bird feeder.
There is a bottlebrush in the back corner with a fruit-salad plant growing up through it. We have five fruit-salad plants altogether.

Wild animals
This is a wild animal quilt that I made some time ago. Children seem to like exotic animals. I have more fabric for another one but styled differently. I made two of these, similar but a little different. I gave them to twin boys.

Round robin
My grandson a few years ago. The quilt in the background is a Round-robin completed some years ago. l make all the cushion covers from blocks found in magazines or embroideries. My dog is keeping an eye on things. The space ship in the background is one of my husband's Lego models.
