Reduce the stash

This was a scrap quilt.  I made two of them and still didn't reduce my stash by much.

A panel for a cot quilt

How easy it is to make a toddlers cot quilt.  An I-spy as well.

A little girl's quilt

This was a panel, I added some fabric to make it bigger.

Another kiddie quilt

Still another kiddie quilt, done so long ago I have forgotten what is in the blocks

Another Kiddie Quilt

I don't remember doing this one, so long ago

The licorice quilt

,After so long, we finally bought a new gadget to upload photos. It must  have been last summer - look at the lawn..

This is  a licorice quilt pattern found in an English patchwork magazine.  i think the quilting team thought it was too big because I haven;t seen it completed.

The Tradesmen who don't arrive.

We are getting a new fence.  The fencing people left the job unfinished, saying they would be back the next day.  That was to be Thursday, it is now late on Friday and we are still waiting.  They have to replace our side gate and put 2 more panels in, Until this is done, our poor little dog cannot go out to play unless we go out too, or he will take himself for a walk..

Fun with inanimate objects

Now my new machine is away getting fixed and my old one is humming along like a champion.
I'm not yet up to date but I'm getting there.
I went to Spotlight yesterday, such a long time  since the last visit,  I bought some medium blue fabric for yet another pattern I saw in a magazine, I intend to alter the pattern somewhat making it much easier,so it will be all mine.. I also bought heaps of batting for a Queen size quilt I've made over the past year or so.

Fun with tension

Now, I have realised that the problem with the old machine was the tension, the needle thread was way too loose.  The new machine has the same problem..I have wasted  lots of thread trying to  correct the problem, not to mention time.. I.m way behind on my plans.
