The Craft Show

Yesterday, I went to the Craft Fair. I intended to stay until 4 pm but my feet were screaming for mercy. I left at about 2:30, because I had forgotten to watch a third demonstration.  There were some stalls I couldn't get near the tables because of the crowds so I went back later and bought what I was looking for.  I also wandered among the quilts on display. All gorgeous and all w-a-a-a-a-y beyond my ability.

I bought 2 x 1/3 meter of pretty fabric from Logan's, and 2 Fat quarters from Gail B. I had a look through Can Do's books but nothing grabbed my attention, I think I have enough books anyway.

I bought an Accuquilt Go Baby. The family is eagerly waiting to  see how it works.

Plans

I seem to be making lots of quilts with pictures, sashes and a border.  These are the quickest designs and  I can have the tops completed in a matter of days (if the sewing room is not too cold to work in).
My sewing space is in our old garage, the door is always open and the wind blows through from back to front because one wall of the attached workshop is missing. Roll on, springtime!

I have started on a  bow-tie/snowball quilt, queen size,  but this one is slow moving because I often run out of tone-on-tone reds.  There is another with music prints and red hearts I am itching to get started on. I also have the fabric for a green wavy quilt.  There is a photo of a blue one done last year.

Another cot quilt

Here is another cot-quilt for a little boy. I don't seem to have much girly fabric, but that may change when  I  visit the Craft show on the last weekend of July.  I have a brochure listing all the interesting and fun things to see and do so I will have to arrive early (and leave later) to fit it all in,.

More Fabric - More Fun

Today, a parcel  from USA Keepsake Quilting containing 2 packs of 10" squares (50) and 1 pack of  14  1930s Quarter yards.  Such pretty fabric.
The package also contained a free issue of McCalls Quilting and a note thanking me for being a good customer.  This year is their 30th anniversary
