Tumbling Blocks

I started to make a tablecloth with these diamond-shaped pieces of batiks.  Still a long way to go.  When I eventually sew them together, I will need to place them facing the same way.

A little jacket for a little girl

This was the easiest knitting I've done for a long time. Thick yarn and size 5.00mm needles, it as knitted from the right sleeve to the left sleeve.  I added the buttons later.

Soft toys

I found patterns for these toys in craft books, I gave them to my two younger  grandchildren.  They  received one of each.

My granddaughter's party dress

Here is a little dress I made for my granddaughter when she was 3 months old.  I found the pattern on Annie's sewing site.  It ties on the shoulders.

A going away gift

This quilt belongs to a young girl who was in our Sunday School but moved  from Australia to England last year.  Each of the other children drew a picture for her on fabric,  the fabric  was passed onto me and I made this.  It was presented to her on their last day.
Part of my back garden is in the background,

Teddies that surf and kitties that swim

This is a floor rug that I made for my new granddaughter.  As the title says, it has lots of cats and teddies.  The backing has a rabbit scene stripe, very colourful.
I have been working on a large Storm at sea Quilt for quite a long time and still haven't completed it.
This is part of it but I had to turn it sideways. It is 60" X 30.  The lower half of the other side has since been added and I am planning to put a Mariners Compass in the top right corner.  I was planning to give it away.
